Makoto Yoneyama

Mr. Yoneyama joined Aspirant Group from April 2023 as a senior advisor.

He joined KYOCERA Corporation in 1980, where he was involved in the planning, construction, and operation of management systems and information systems as well as the post-merger integration process after M&As mainly in the business administration division. From 1999, he held various positions at KYOCERA, including the manager of information system technology division, strategic finance division, and business administration division. Thereafter, he was involved in the global logistics reform and turnaround process at KYOCERA Mita Corporation (currently known as KYOCERA Document Solutions, Inc.) as the executive officer/senior VP of business administration of KYOCERA Mita and managing director of KYOCERA Mita Japan.

When Japan Airlines filed for bankruptcy in 2010, he joined Mr. Kazuo Inamori, the founder of KYOCERA, in the turnaround efforts of Japan Airlines. He contributed to the turnaround efforts through management system reform and introduction of Divisional Profitability Management System as the managing executive officer and senior VP of business administration.

In 2015, he became the senior managing director KYOCERA Communication Systems Co., Ltd. After 2017, he became the senior managing director of LEGS COMPANY, LTD. and President of SIP CORPORATION. He is currently a board member of CL Holdings Inc. and CDG Co., Ltd, where he is involved in the design and execution of investment strategies and improvement of group governance.
