Noboru Kotani

Mr. Kotani joined Aspirant Group from April 2022 as a senior advisor.
After spending 19 years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), he founded Dream Incubator Inc. (DI), a company focusing on strategic consulting and venture capital investments, in 2000. As representative director, he eventually led DI through an IPO. After leaving DI, based on his long career as a business consultant, he has been providing advice to various corporations, including Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., where he is an external board member. While he was at BCG, he was mainly involved in development and implementation of strategy within the healthcare and consumer sectors. During his tenure at DI, he supported large cap companies to commercialize seeds of technology and assisted venture companies with their IPOs. He is also a published author of several books. Mr. Kotani holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mathematical Engineering and Information Physics from the University of Tokyo and an M.S. from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
